The two-day festivities shine a light on the art of those who work with paper, leather, fabric, yarn, and other textiles. In addition to the exhibition, classes will be held both days and include, Needle Felting 3D Freestanding, Punch Needle, Intro to Natural Dyes, Drop Spindle, and Needle Felted Tote. A sheep shearing demo, a tour of the Crazy Mountain Museum, and a petting zoo will also be part of the festival fun.

Big Timber, Montana is the county seat of Sweet Grass County and a gateway to the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness. Located between the Yellowstone and Boulder Rivers, it is known for its wool production. In 1892, it was the largest shipping exporter of wool in the United States. To date, this community remains tight knit with neighbors proudly exhibiting their work and handcrafted wares. Plan to spend plenty of time at the exhibits and events. Food Trucks will have tasty bites to help satisfy hunger pangs, and the vendor fair is not-to-be-missed. The event is free to attend with fees for classes.
